Arcure chooses Objenious for the deployment of its Blaxtair Connect solution

Paris, January 12, 2021 – Arcure, a specialist in artificial intelligence applied to image processing in the industrial field, has selected Objenious, Bouygues Telecom’s IoT brand, as the partner for its Blaxtair Connect solution. Unique in the world and already internationally recognized, this connected solution positions itself as a major player in industrial safety and prevention.

Revolutionizing industrial safety and prevention

Industrial machinery, such as forklifts, loaders, excavators, etc., can pose a danger to warehouse, construction, public works, mines, and quarry personnel during their tasks. This risk is greater in coactivity situations where pedestrians work close to these vehicles. To complement the safety devices already in place, Blaxtair has been equipping machinery with an intelligent 3D camera capable of distinguishing in real-time between a person and another obstacle, and alerting the driver in case of danger, avoiding unnecessary alarms.

Revolutionizing prevention systems, the newly connected solution now has a complementary tool called Blaxtair Connect, which gives companies the means to anticipate and identify the most high-risk locations and schedules on their sites for vehicle/pedestrian accidents. All collected data is presented on an online portal that identifies danger zones on the site, the associated machines, and hours and tracks the effectiveness of preventive measures put in place, using relevant indicators.

This unique solution in the world is already recognized as a proactive accident prevention tool by major Arcure customers and received the “New and Innovative Solutions” category award in September 2020 from WSHAsia (World of Safety & Health Asia) in Singapore.

A collaboration combining Artificial Intelligence and Connected Objects

Arcure chose Objenious by Bouygues Telecom to advise and assist in the selection of available IoT technological solutions for the integration of connectivity in its historical standard product, Blaxtair. Its strong expertise and recognized quality of service allowed to respond to this structuring project.

In France, as well as internationally, data collected by Blaxtair Connect is transmitted through the Bouygues Telecom 4G network. A dedicated interface allows for determining actions to be taken and measuring their effectiveness in accident prevention and anticipation.

Bernardo Cabrera, Objenious Director, states “With a particularly innovative partner like Arcure and products with proven performance, such as Blaxtair Connect, Objenious is challenged and recognized for providing the best solutions on the market. We are happy to bring our expertise and contribute to a practical application at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, image processing, and connected objects, improving industrial risk prevention in France and internationally.”

Franck Gayraud, CEO of Arcure, said “We have been working with major industrial players for several years, particularly in construction and building, such as Bouygues. We equip many machines working on construction sites with Blaxtair. Now, our partnership with Bouygues Telecom will allow us to respond to all Blaxtair Connect’s demands worldwide thanks to their strong international presence.”
