The IoT solutions of tomorrow
Our IoT M2M networks
LTE-M is an essential IoT technology: it’s the ideal compromise between performance, device cost, and longevity. It meets a very wide range of current and future use cases.
LTE-M is a development of 4G designed for IoT.
- Speed: Highest throughput Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWA): up to 1 Mb/second
- Mobility: effective connection even at speeds of 100 km/h
- Technological longevity guaranteed (5G-SA compatible)
With the Start LTE-M IoT 4G offer, test your current use cases on LTE-M or 4G networks for 1 year. Discover the LPWA functionalities of LTE-M and extend the battery life of your devices up to 10 years.
NB-IoT is a low-power, energy-efficient network designed for sending very short messages, which among other things, helps to enhance the longevity and autonomy performance of devices and thereby reduce costs.
- Profitability: reduced module cost
- Performance: strong indoor penetration, including basements
- Energy efficiency: battery life maximized with LPWA features: Hibernation (PSM) and Light-Sleep (eDRX)
With the Explore NB-IoT offer, discover and experiment for one year without limits, the cellular NB-IoT network and its LPWA functionalities.
The acronym LPWA (or LPWAN) – Low Power Wide Area (Network) – refers to a category of wireless (Network) that combines both low energy consumption (Low Power) and long-range (Wide Area).
They are mainly used for IoT devices that require intermittent transmission of small volumes of data over long distances. The cellular LPWA networks are LTE-M and NB-IoT. These are the only networks that have been standardized by the international 3GPP norm, which is used by all Telecom operators to facilitate roaming deployment.
This functionality is available with digital offers.
The device schematically consists of 4 elements: the microprocessor relays the information from the sensor (e.g., temperature), via the cellular module, all powered by a battery. Battery consumption can be greatly reduced by using the LPWA features of the cellular module (LTE-M and NB-IoT).
